Cristi Walters has a Master's in Educational Psychology and Human Development and specializes in social/emotional cognitive development, learning differences, and executive function challenges.  As a Certified Autism Specialist, Cristi has extensive training and experience working with the unique social/emotional learning challenges that arise from Autism Spectrum. She is also trained to address ADD/ADHD; NLD; PDD-NOS; anxiety due to social and learning issues; learning differences such as dyslexia, dysgraphia, auditory processing, and more. 

 

One of her main areas of focus is providing skills and support to young adults beginning to launch. Transitioning from high school to college to career creates a particular set of hurdles for people who have learning or developmental differences. There is a lack of specialized help for this age as they are making this crucial step into adulthood. Cristi finds it particularly rewarding to work with this group of people, and being able to be part of their growth toward independence, fulfillment, and success.
